Apprenticeships are the alternative way of getting a job in tech without going to college or having a degree. You learn the skills you need to learn, on the job, whilst getting paid at some of the world's biggest companies.

Why should I do an apprenticeship?

An apprenticeship provides you with a direct route into what will likely be your first job. If you want to start working straight away, and you prefer learning by doing then an apprenticeship will be a great fit for you. Here are some of the main benefits:

  • You’re fully employed from day one. You can earn a competitive salary while completing the 12-15 month program.
  • It's free of charge for apprentices so there’s no need to choose between investing in yourself and earning a salary.
  • You can choose a field that interests you, we offer apprenticeships in: digital marketing, business, data, and software engineering.
  • You can work and progress at some of the biggest companies in the world.
  • You’ll develop in-demand industry and transferable skills to accelerate your career in tech. The program is centered around applied learning. You’ll put what you learn into action every day.
  • You’ll become part of the Multiverse community, building and growing your network. These connections will help you progress more quickly. The Multiverse community offers a huge range of events, networks, development programs and more.
  • You get personalized coaching from industry-leading professionals in their field who’ll coach you in technical skills and support your development throughout the apprenticeship.

How do I apply for a tech apprenticeship with Multiverse?

There are 3 steps to applying for and landing an apprenticeship with Multiverse:

Build your profile

The first step is to create a profile on the Multiverse platform(opens new window). Here you will provide an overview of your skills, attributes and experience that will be used by the admissions team to assess your application and match you with the right programs and roles. With a single profile, you’ll be able to apply to different apprenticeships from a range of leading companies.

Get your profile approved by Multiverse

Once your profile is complete, you will be invited to complete an interview with Multiverse and a skills assessment. You are also encouraged to attend our workshops on polishing your profile and interviewing with employers

Employer interviews and landing an apprenticeship

Once your profile is created and assessed, the Multiverse admissions team will let you know when your application has been approved. At this stage, the team will help you find the right apprenticeship opportunities for you and give you advice to prepare for the employer interviews. These interviews are similar to any other job interview, and the Multiverse team will get behind you to support you in every step of the way.

Once you receive an offer, the apprenticeship program will begin and Multiverse will partner with the employer to begin your journey.
