We’re growing fast. So we’re constantly looking for ways to deliver brilliant coaching at an ever increasing scale. After our second visit from Ofsted, it seems our hard work is paying off.

Ofsted is responsible for inspecting and evaluating education providers across the England. In February, they carried out a Monitoring Visit to assess our teaching.

Noting our phenomenal growth, Ofsted judged that we’d made “significant progress” since their last visit. For a monitoring visit, that’s the highest grade available.

“They have carefully considered the skills apprentices need to give them a strong platform from which to start their careers or move into higher-level roles.”

In the past 12 months, we’ve tripled the number of apprentices on our programmes to 3,000, all while moving every aspect of our training online due to Covid-19. Since Oftsed’s last visit, our community has grown ten times. But quality hasn’t dropped. In fact, it’s improved against every metric. This is a testament to our amazing coaches and the world-class teaching they deliver every day.

Our strong partnerships with employers

Apprentices are applying their new knowledge and skills right away – adding immediate value to their workplace.

Our incredible coaches and their one-on-one work with apprentices

Apprentices are gaining and retaining new skills every day on carefully planned, always up-to-date programmes.

The Multiverse Community

Over 3,000 apprentices have access to a huge range of networking and personal development opportunities, including external speakers and events.

Our accessibility for all

Extra support is available for learners with additional needs and our programme resources are easily accessible for everyone.

It’s our mission to create a diverse group of future leaders. So we were delighted to see Ofsted highlight the way our apprentices are equipped to step up into positions of responsibility. To quote directly from the report:

“Apprentices develop substantial new knowledge, skills and behaviours...for example, in data analyst programmes, apprentices take on more responsibility in senior leadership teams.”

Multiverse founder and CEO, Euan Blair, had this to say: “We know that delivering brilliant training at scale is a big challenge, and since we were last visited by Ofsted we’ve grown our community of professional apprentices more than 10x. Being awarded the top assessment grade yet again is an important endorsement of the work we’ve put into meeting that challenge.

“We have a team of coaches that are absolutely dedicated to the success of every single apprentice on our programmes. That’s why, by every measure, the quality of our teaching is continuing to improve even as we scale.”

Lisa Barrett, VP of Learning, Innovation and Operations, said: “Our top priority is making sure our professional apprentices have an amazing applied learning experience on their programmes, and we work hard to ensure that they’re successful in their apprenticeship and in their job. We collect huge amounts of data to hold ourselves to high standards, and this judgement is a crucial validation of our processes and diligence. It reflects all of the hard work put in by the entire Multiverse team, particularly our incredible coaches.”
