A vital part of creating an experience that rivals that of a university is our Community offering - something that’s unique to Multiverse. Through Community, thousands of apprentices and alumni have the opportunity to grow their networks and develop as professionals - both through our online community platform, and a varied schedule of online and in-person events.

And one of the community initiatives that benefits our apprentices most is the opportunity to develop their own groups and networks, which are run by and for apprentices. They bring together members with shared identities and experiences, enabling them to connect and be supported to achieve their goals.

The Women’s Network is one of our longest standing networks and has attracted over 500 members. It exists to bring together all apprentices who identify as women and allies, to create safe spaces for personal and professional conversations to enrich career development, growth and confidence, through exclusive events and content.

The Women’s Network has entered into a partnership with Your Juno, a financial education platform focused on the empowerment of women and non-binary people. Alexia and Margot de Broglie launched the Your Juno app in 2021 after seeing the stark financial education gap, and the wealth gap that follows.

They found that 73% of the financial articles in mainstream media that were directed at women were predominately about scrimping and saving, whereas 90% of the articles directed at men were overwhelmingly about growing and spending their money.

On their mission to empower women, Your Juno will be supporting apprentices in the Women’s network with workshops focused on topics ranging from money mindset to investing 101.

Molly Rankin, one of the co-chairs of the Women’s Network, said: “The Multiverse Women’s Network is thrilled to be part of such an exciting partnership with Your Juno. We can’t wait to see our community build their confidence and financial literacy to make their first money moves or level up their money mindset!”

The partnership is the latest in a series of Community partners that are supporting our apprentices through their programmes.

Loyce Witherspoon, Head of Community at Your Juno, said: “It has been such a pleasure to partner with Multiverse and connect with their vibrant community to lift the lid off of money. We know that money is the last taboo -- sex, death, relationships are likely to enter a conversation before money does -- and this is changing through the events we build together.”
